In these works anonymous groups of individuals survey an architectural model, lounge in a mountain retreat or observe panoramic views of a remote wilderness. Cinematic in scale, the works are unified through a sense of disquiet, with the geographic remoteness and formal, ritualized actions of their subjects alluding to narratives of ideological cohesion and spatial control.
