Cinematic in scale, the large drawings feature anonymous groups of individuals carrying out ritualized actions in remote geographic locations. Mountainous terrain and areas of wilderness are subject to symbolic acts of domination yet contain hidden threats. 

The paintings explore representations of power in the context of individuals and nation states. Referencing the history of portrait painting and large-scale narrative works conceived for public spaces they investigate visual manifestations of social and ideological order.

Recent drawings examine architecture as a means of containment and control that operates to affect a sense of social order. Fusing modernist architecture with that of the military installation they refer to the desire for progress on one hand, and fortification and exclusion on the other.

A series of wall drawings created in Hammam el Ayn, in Jerusalem's Old City as part of the Jerusalem Show VII. Peripheral Vision "inhabits imageries and architectural indications of overloaded power structures such as prisons, bunkers and military installations" (Basak Senova, Curator).
